YuleLoggers Christmas Decorating Contest 2004

1 - Large Tree = ranging from 6' in height and above.

2 - Medium Tree = ranging from 3' - 5' 6" in height.

3 - Small Tree = Less than 3' in height.

4 - Small Display = less than 3' in height, width or depth

(may include for example: table top, shadowbox, counter top, shelf).

5 - Large Display = larger than 3' in height, width or depth

(may include for example: fireplace, village(s), porch, window or display cabinet).

6 - Wreath = any size wreath, any material.

7 - Miniature Display = any size but featuring miniature items.

8 - Kitchen Display = any size, tree, display, wreath, featuring food type ornaments or gingerbread type theme.

9 - Non-Hallmark category to include just about anything, wreath, tree, display,

using for example Radko or other blown-glass oraments,

Lenox Nativity, Dept. 56, Jim Shore, Fotanini, Nutcrackers or

ANY OTHER Christmas Decorations you might collect.

10 - Halloween - Fall = tree, wreath, village, outdoor decorations/scene.

PRIZES:

1st Place = 25.00 *
2nd Place = 15.00 *
3rd Place = 10.00 *

GRAND PRIZE - "Member's Favorite" = YuleLog Software (generously donated by Todd Ray) either an update or full program - winner's choice depending on IF they already own it or not. Thank You Todd~!!!

CONTEST RULES:  

1. Photos must be submitted to our webmaster, Melody Perkins no later than midnight Monday January 3rd 2005.

IF photos are being sent via snail mail, they MUST arrive prior to the deadline.

Please email Melody for proper mailing address at webmaster@yuleloggers.com.

2. All entries must indicate the appropriate category for which the photo is being submitted

in addition to the contestant/member name and YuleLogger i.d.

The Webmaster, Board, or Decorating Committee cannot be responsible for making this determination.

3. Photos will be posted on the website by midnight Janurary 5th 2005. (Melody isn't available until Jan. 4th).

4. Voting will coincide with the polls normally conducted at the conclusion of the January meeting

 on January 9th and the polls will run for one (1) week .

Polls will be created by our Yahoo Moderator.

5. Only one (1) entry per category per member.

Only one (1) prize per member (unless they win the "Members Favorite" then maximum of two (2) will apply.

6. Entries should contain a Hallmark collectible with the exception of the non-Hallmark category.
