I usually only pre-order a few ornaments each year and that list includes the Limited Edition and KOC members only ornaments.  I really like to check each ornament for their paint job and construction.  I will be buying more Hallmark 2008 ornaments between now and the end of Feb. 2009.  I need to take advantage of the special promotion offers through out the season including the Holiday Ball Ornaments.

I think one of my favorites is the one of Pooh and Piglet with the star.  I can't think of the name right now.  I have preordered at least 2 for October debute.

My favorite ornament is  the Fireman Santa from the Toymaker Santa series. It reminds me of how thankful I am to all our firefighters who battled the fires in California this year, including the GAP Fire in my neighborhood. 
Also, I like the Goldfinch, 4th in the series Beauty of Birds, because the black and yellow coloring reminds me of the Hooded Orioles that visit my backyard feeders. 
For the first time in ages I haven't pre-ordered any ornaments. I don't know why, but I am just not excited about the Hallmark ornaments this year.  I usually buy large quantities of ornaments, but last year I didn't buy as many as I usually do and this year I have bought even less.  I will go and look at the ornaments in the store before I purchase them at the Debut or Open House.
